Here's to You

Last year, when Patricia Doherty Cole (B.A., Social Science, '73) watched her son graduate from Cal State Hayward, she started to think back to her college days at SFSU.

"I looked through my old papers and they brought back a lot of good memories," she says. Professors Dwight Simpson, Stanley Bailis and Jack Curtin stood out the most. "They were just amazing teachers," she says. "They challenged me and helped me learn how to think analytically."

Cole decided to thank her professors with an SFSU Tribute Gift: a donation made in their names to support the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences.

SFSU Tribute Gifts are a new way to honor or remember a special professor, classmate, staff member, or friend at the University, and help improve the quality of education for today's students in any department or college on campus.

For more information on how to give a Tribute Gift, please e-mail Russ Olevsky at rolevsky@sfsu.edu, or call 415/338-6877.
