Keeping our fingers crossed for⦠Ernest Gaines(B.A., '57), the author of "The Autobiography of Miss Jane Pittman," "A Gathering of Old Men," and "A Lesson Before Dying," among others, has been nominated for the Nobel Prize in Literature.
