Downtown, Things Will Be Great…

The grand opening of SF State's Downtown Campus drew a crowd of city officials, local celebrities and others eager to see the University's dramatic new space at the Westfield San Francisco Centre. Located at 835 Market Street, Westfield is one of Northern California's newest and most exciting venues for shopping, dining, entertainment -- and now, education.

The Downtown Campus, which opened its doors at the start of the spring semester, houses SF State's graduate business and extended learning programs. About 65 percent of students pursuing their MBA, MSBA and Executive MBA degrees are working professionals who enjoy the campus' proximity to the Financial District. Likewise, many of the students enrolled in the College of Extended Learning's certificate programs, including financial planning, paralegal studies and human resource management, are pursuing their studies while remaining on the job. Nearby parking and public transportation are highly appealing to these students on the go.
